The Role – Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant
Join a dynamic and specialist SEMH school in the heart of Mole Valley, Surrey. This nurturing setting supports pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, school-based trauma, and undiagnosed mental health challenges.
You will play a key role in helping students regulate emotions, access learning, and build trust within a safe, therapeutic environment. This is not a mainstream role – it’s a place where you can truly make a difference.
Your day-to-day will include:
Providing consistent, calm, and firm support for pupils who need emotional and behavioural guidance
Supporting therapeutic and sensory-based activities that enhance engagement
Using creative tools like drama, music, and art to support emotional expression
Building strong relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding
Supporting pupils in managing anxiety, transitions, and dysregulation
Ideal for Professionals or Graduates Interested in:
