I am working with an ASD school in Harlow which is seeking a SEMH Primary Teacher, with a passion for SEN, to join their friendly community and support the pupils’ academic journeys. All pupils receive a safe, stimulating and challenging curriculum which is focused on the needs and potential of each individual pupil, where all achievements are celebrated. They aim to provide a holistic curriculum incorporating an understanding of and focus on mental health and wellbeing, driven by pupils’ individual needs, promoting tolerance and respect for others, that promotes a joy of learning and independence.

- KS2 class of 8 pupils with experienced SEN TAs and support of a multidisciplinary Therapy Team.
The Ideal SEN Primary Teacher
- The ideal SEN Primary Teacher is passionate about teaching vulnerable students with SEMH and helping them reach their full potential.
- Is emotionally resilient and can adapt to challenging environments and situations.
- Prior experience teaching children with SEND even in mainstream settings
- QTS or equivalent
