About the Role
Experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Mainstream Primary School, Hackney
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: £90 - £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? I'm working with a vibrant mainstream primary school in Hackney is looking for dedicated and experienced LSAs to support children with high SEN needs.
About the Role:
- Provide tailored support to children with a range of high SEN needs, working primarily in a group setting.
- Assist in creating an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual differences.
- Offer personal care support as needed, ensuring the well-being and dignity of every child.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to plan, deliver, and adapt learning activities.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with high SEN needs.
- A strong commitment to making a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Ability to build a long-term career within the SEN education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a diverse school community.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting children through their individual challenges.
