Location- Enfield
Primary and Secondary
£100 - £115 PAYE

About the School
We are working closely with an SEMH school based in North London. This school is in a modern, purpose-built environment designed to support both staff and students. It caters to students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and it supports every student through a trauma-informed approach. They are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a children in Key Stage 3 in a 2:1 role. The student is on of the most challenging students in their secondary site, so it is important that the successful candidate has had experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs, this can be professional or personal experience.
About the Role of SEMH Teaching Assistant;
- Supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with learning
- Working in a 2:1 support role with a key Stage 3 student
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Creating a safe and structured environment for students
- If you have a background in sports, your skills will be highly valued in this role!
SEMH Teaching Assistant Requirments:
- Experience in working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing or social communication
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships and to be a role model
- Effective behaviour management skills
- To be patient, empathetic and resilience
- A passion for working with SEND is essential
