We are working with a therapeutic SEMH/ASC setting seeking a Deputy Headteacher to start after Easter following an internal promotion. The primary SEMH setting based in East London is a therapeutic holistic special school setting that have a founding principle of nurture.
The Deputy Headteacher role will be supporting the popular Headteacher who has been in post for numerous years and has built a solid staff team.
The role will initially start on a temporary contract with a view to being permanent from September following a permanent recruitment process, if it is a good fit on both sides.
Due to the urgency of the role and the immediate start, the school requires a strong primary curriculum leader with outstanding teaching and learning abilities and a resilient management approach.
Although experience in SEND settings, particularly SEMH, is desirable, the school are interested in speaking with any senior leader who has experience with SEND and SEMH cohorts if that is within mainstream settings.
