Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and committed Psychology or Criminology graduates who are eager to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with autism, social emotional mental health needs, or other additional needs. This role offers the opportunity to work in both 1:1 and group settings, providing tailored support and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with children and young people with SEN, providing individualized support and intervention.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in SEN education.
Requirements:
- Completed a degree in Psychology or Criminology by September 2024.
- Strong interest in working with children and young people with autism, social emotional mental health needs, or other additional needs.
- Demonstrated commitment and passion for a career in teaching and SEN education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
