The SEMH Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and compassionate teachers to join the therapeutic teaching team.

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students while catering to their individual needs.
Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages students’ personal and academic growth.
Work collaboratively with therapists and other staff to support students’ holistic development.
Monitor and assess student progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for development.
Actively participate in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities and community engagement.

About you as a SEMH Teacher

You are an educator with a passion for making a difference and supporting students with SEMH needs. Your qualifications include:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) with experience or an interest in working with SEMH learners.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience in managing challenging situations.
A commitment to creating an inclusive, inspiring, and supportive learning environment.
Creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.
