Nurture Teaching Assistant

 

LOCATION: Richmond, South West London

START DATE: September

CONTRACT TYPE: Temp – Perm

SALARY: £90-£100 per day PAYE

HOURS: 8:00 – 16:00

Do you have experience working with pupils who have EHCP that require 1:1 learning support?

Are you keen to make a difference in the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEN/SEMH?

I am seeking a passionate and engaging SEN Nurture Teaching Assistant who wants to provide meaningful and essential support to vulnerable children who require it most!

This is a Nurture Teaching Assistant role working with KS3 students with significant, complex behaviour challenges. 

 

Nurture Teaching Assistant Requirements

  • Experience working with children/young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, speech and communication difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, mental health issues
  • Learning Support / Teaching Assistant experience
  • Ability to be nurturing and caring
  • Proactive, flexible and willing approach
  • Ability to build rapport with disengaged students
  • Patience and understanding of the difficulties surrounding children’s return to school
