About the Role

This secondary provision is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a class of 7 students per year, following them from Year 7 to Year 11, building relationships, and gaining their trust along the way.
Position Details:
- Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) specialising in ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Class Size: 7 students per year
- Temp to Perm Opportunity
- Pay Range: £85 - £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibility)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 16:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
- Build strong relationships with students and gain their trust
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised support plans
- Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage students to engage with their learning and develop essential skills
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering student well-being
