September 2025 start
Are you currently studying at university and want to set up your September career plans? Do you want to make sure you're working within a school that can meet your long term career goals? Do you want to focus on a specialist subject whilst building SEN knowledge?
Arriving at the school it is a very large modern building, you instantly can feel the high standard and quality of the school, staff and their students. Walking around the school all the classrooms are made of glass meaning you can clearly see how engaged and well behavioured the students are within their lessons, and all floors are designated by subject with an additional meeting room for all teachers and TAs of that subject to meet out of class time.
The school boasts their high quality standards and expect all staff members to bring the same energy through the school gates every day.
Working as a graduate teaching assistant within this environment you would gain a wealth of experience and is the perfect setting for future secondary teachers, you will be developing your pedagogy in a hybrid format focusing on your chosen specialist subject, whilst supporting students with special needs and/or social, emotional, mental health.
This is a very structured school, with senior leaders that are on hand to support you as well as providing personal development training once a week, you will also have access to online systems to CPD training & safeguarding courses, as well as this a Teacher Training Programme to support graduates through the whole process of their Teaching pathway to make sure you have a clear vision to your end career goal. An added bonus is a wellbeing week where you can get a relaxing massage and your own personalised kindness note!!
If successful you would be starting in September with other graduates meaning you can all be in it together!!
