The child that the successful candidate will be supporting is in year 1 and has ASD, he also wears a nappy so some personal care is required. The role requires someone who has experience with ASD and can be patient and calming. This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant role would really suit applicants with experience working with children with SEN in a school environment, however the school may consider applicants who personal experience with SEN, or who truly care about having a positive effect on the lives of SEN children.
