I am actively recruiting diverse, energetic, and dedicated Graduate Behaviour Mentors to work in a range of specialist settings across East London boroughs
At PS Inclusion, we work directly with several specialist resource provisions, nurture groups, and SEMH schools that provide support and tailored teaching and learning for pupils with a diagnosis of SEMH. Many pupils in these settings have experienced past trauma in the form of domestic abuse, gang and drug related violence, undiagnosed learning difficulties and other barriers to learning.
The pupils at this school have a diverse range of neurodiverse needs, including autism, social emotional and mental health, and related conditions.
The ideal Graduate Behaviour Mentor may be/have…
- A relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Criminology, or related fields.
- Practical experience working with children and young people with dysregulated or challenging physical and verbal behaviours.
- Ability to relate to young people and provide specialised and individualised support.
- Trauma informed approach.
- Understanding of children and young people’s mental health.
- A background/interest in sports (desirable)
