Experienced HLTA – Specialist ARP
Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £100 - £130 per day PAYE
Temp to Perm opportunity

The Role:

Providing high-quality support to students within the ARP setting, ensuring their academic and personal development

Delivering targeted interventions and small-group activities under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff

Adapting learning strategies to suit individual needs, promoting engagement and progress

Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation

Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to create a nurturing environment

The ability to cover lessons in the absence of the teacher
About You:
-
Experienced HLTA with a minimum of 6 months in the role

Confident supporting children with ASC and complex needs
-
Able to implement tailored strategies to support individual EHCP targets

Passionate about inclusion and making education accessible for all learners

A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
