About the Role
Early Years Support Assistant (SEN)
Location: Mainstream Primary School, Tower Hamlets
Age Group: 4 - 6 Years (Early Years)
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: £90 per day
Are you passionate about supporting young children with special educational needs (SEN)? I'm supporting an inclusive mainstream primary school that are seeking dedicated Early Years Support Assistants to join their team, working with children aged 4-6 who require additional care and attention due to having autism, complex needs and global delay.
About the Role:
- Provide support to young children with high SEN needs in their early years of learning and development.
- Assist with personal care as required, ensuring the dignity and well-being of every child.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging and nurturing learning environments.
- Offer emotional and behavioural support, helping students regulate their emotions and fully engage in their education.
- Support children in both individual and group settings, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with early years children, especially those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with Nursery settings.
- CACHE Level 3 or Health & Social Care qualification
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
- Ability to provide personal care when needed, with respect and sensitivity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for young children.
