SEND Teaching Assistant
Mainstream Secondary School
£100 Per day

A diverse and vibrant Secondary School is seeking a dedicated and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to support students in the mainstream school and within their ASD provision, in mainstream lessons and small group interventions. The role involves actively understanding student needs, fostering their independence, assisting teachers with lesson preparation, and contributing to reviews.

Your SEMH experience will put you in fantastic stead for this role as you step outside the classroom and into an outreach position.
This is an opportunity to work with the most vulnerable young people, supporting their SEMH needs, as you work towards the ultimate goal of transitioning them back into the classroom to learn amongst their peers.
Your ability to commit to the pressures of the role will be essential in ensuring you give the best support to the young people under your care, as you deliver learning support and developing their social and emotional skills.
Naturally the role involves traveling across multiple locations in London, where at times circumstance might dictate swift changes in your diary. Naturally costs of travelling during the day will be covered by expenses.
