Some jobs fit around your life. Others give your life more meaning.
Working in a school is incredibly rewarding—you’ll help shape a child’s future, build strong connections, and experience those incredible ‘lightbulb’ moments where everything just clicks. But let’s be honest: it can be challenging too. It's about making a difference, showing up with energy and commitment, and being the kind of person who wants to help a child succeed.
The School – A Place Where You’ll Belong
This mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEN provision is a place where inclusion isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. The team is warm, welcoming, and always ready to support one another. You won’t feel like you’re ‘just another TA’ here—you’ll be a valued part of a school that truly invests in its staff and pupils.
With modern, well-equipped classrooms, a calming sensory room, and staff who genuinely care, this school provides the perfect environment for both students and educators to thrive.
The Role – Making an Impact, Every Day
🔹 Providing 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, helping them engage with learning in a way that suits them best
🔹 Encouraging communication, confidence, and emotional regulation
🔹 Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt activities and learning strategies
🔹 Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where the child can flourish
🔹 Celebrating progress—no matter how small—because every step forward is a victory
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Experience with SEN is beneficial, but not essential—the right attitude matters more than anything
✅ You’re patient, adaptable, and have a proactive approach to learning and behaviour support
✅ You genuinely want to work with children and understand that every day won’t be easy—but every challenge is worth it
✅ You believe in inclusion, kindness, and making sure every child feels valued
✅ You’re ready to be part of a team that works together to give children the best possible start
If you’ve been searching for a job that’s more than ‘just a job’—where you’ll feel challenged, supported, and genuinely make a difference, this could be the perfect fit.
