The Role:
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with SEN. Working closely with an experienced SEN team, you will provide 1:1 assistance, facilitate small group activities, and implement tailored interventions to help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to assess student progress and implement effective strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity at all times.
