Are you a kind and engaging qualified SEN Primary or Early Years Teacher with a resilient personality who genuinely believes that children with Special Educational Needs deserve the very best education possible?
Do you have experience teaching in a special needs school, or are you a Primary teacher within a mainstream school, now looking to work within the field of SEN?
I am now working with a truly wonderful school in the London Borough of Lewisham, whose core values include ensuring teaching styles are adapted so each individual child receives the very best education possible.
They strongly believe in teaching the pupils to value themselves and respect others, and develop the resilience to become a responsible and active citizen in their community.
They are now looking to hire a qualified SEN Early Years Teacher to join their wonderful team.
What to expect working as an SEN Early Years Teacher:
· Small class sizes with significant support from SEN Teaching Assistants
· The opportunity to have a hugely positive impact on the lives of SEN pupils, including pupils with Autism
· A full-time role for a year commencing in January
· To teach in a setting with a likeminded team who are equally as dedicated to the learning and personal development of young people
· A fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN Primary Teachers, or teachers who have worked in mainstream schools and are now looking to work within the SEN field
Requirements of an SEN Early Years Teacher:
· Experience teaching early years or primary
· Experience of SEN preferred, however we would also love to hear from individuals who are interested in taking their first steps into SEN settings.
· QTS or QTLS would be a requirement for this role
· A positive, resilient and engaging personality who works well as part of a team
· A genuine drive to help and support children with additional needs receive the very best education possible
