We are hiring an SEMH Humanities Teacher in Guildford, Surrey, to work with neuro-diverse students ASAP or at the start of January 2025.

Deliver the curriculum to all students, adjusting the material should it be necessary to suit specific needs.

Responsibility for creating and preparing lessons.

You will be accountable for the attainment and progress of pupil progress.

Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment, keeping the school’s core value of mutual respect at the forefront.
Essential Criteria for SEMH Humanities Teacher
- Previous experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies.
- It is compulsory you hold (or have in process) valid QTS/QTLS.
- Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in a specialist subject or a related subject
- You enjoy using a therapeutic approach to teaching.
- Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, and social communication teaching background.
