About the Role
Primary SEN Teacher
Temp to Perm / Perm
Salary paid in accordance with teachers pay and conditions.
Located in Epping Forest, this incredible specialist school are looking for a Class Teacher to join their ASD Base set within a mainstream primary school. Offering full time education to children aged 4-11 with an EHCP and diagnosis of Autism, this purpose-built school has beautiful, colourful classrooms and a spacious, well-resourced outdoor area. There is also a large on-site swimming pool and sports facilities which is used by the whole school.
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, individualised and creative lessons that foster curiosity and wonder. You will need to be organised, reflective, and able to continually adapt your teaching according to the pupils individual needs. There are often regular opportunities to join lessons and activities with the pupils mainstream peers so a flexible attitude is also needed.
Working as part of a dedicated team, the ideal candidate will be pro-active, friendly and have a good understand of the Autism Spectrum. ECTs are welcome to apply as well as experienced teachers looking for a change in career.
